#Forgiveness
What does the Bible say about forgiveness?
We forgive because we have been forgiven. Forgiveness releases the debt — it does not deny the hurt.
Back to the FAQScripture calls us to forgive others "just as in Christ God forgave you" (Ephesians 4:32). Forgiveness is not pretending nothing happened; it is choosing to release the debt into God's hands.
Jesus links our forgiving others with our walk with the Father (Matthew 6:14-15), and when Peter asked "how many times?", Jesus answered seventy times seven — a heart posture, not a counter.
